Sorry I missed one of your posts. You are using the PCI slot next to the AGP slot? If yes, be aware that AGP and PCI1 share the same IRQ. OK, I finally got my new (ebay) BP-6 (2 366's at 550) to boot...apparently it REALLY dislikes my old SB16 PCI. I also had an Adaptec 2940OU2W in slot 2, that didn't work. I put a plain 2940OUW in slot 4, and XP hangs on boot with it there. The only thing on the HPT is a CDRW, the HD's and CD are on ...

Roadrunner also, 2.5 mbit down, 384 Kbit up is advertised, I've seen as high as 800 KB/sec in bursts when hitting 6 news-servers at once, and sustained of 300-440 KB.
