http://www.jackcon.com.tw/ Found this site, is that where you got yours from? http://www.jackcon.com.tw/lse.htm <- Believe those are the ones used on our BP6's. If so, with that " 105℃, 2000~4000hours assured " rating, no wonder caps are going off now. I mean, even at like 40c, after something like...

Got this pro digital Weller solder station so thats no problem but just removed a few caps and seems like I another smaller tip for my pen, this is aprox 2mm wide and too big. Those holes are plated? but it's no problem if you have the right tip and perhaps a little more then 15w. And, dunno the eng...

BP6 CPU speed prob
Powered up my BP6 today for the first time in about a year. Now it'll only boot at 5.5x100, everything else results in a CPU speed of 458 with FSB 83 and 1:1 on AGP/PCI. My cellys are 366's and have been running at FSB 100 since I got em like 5 years ago.. CPU temps are, now, around 50C.. Thats idle...

Until now I've been using mapped drives but just tested it and it does work with network paths. Discovered that the autoupdate still seems a bit wierd, just stops some times for some reason. Have'nt got the time to look into it yet but just unchecking and checking the autoupdate starts it again. Sho...

Is PIII mod worthwhile??
I have a Tyan dual PIII 866EB along with my BP6, do you think it's worthwhile to mod my BP6 to take PIII's? Like fiddeling around with a solering iron and are sufficiently skilled. Im thinking that even 100-108 * 6.5 would bring quite a boost in performance over those Celly's but dont know if it's w...
