Would anyone be able to provide a source, or multiple sources, of information that would list pros and cons regarding the operation of Win2k Pro vs. WinXP Pro on the BP6?
This is just an F.M.I. question.

Well, I took er all apart and rebuilt from the ground up. I even switched CPU sockets then uped the RAM a bit and then I installed XP pro on a HDD that wasn't in the system originally. Installation went perfect and after I started to install the microsoft upgrades and downloads, she froze. It's beyo...

Consistent Freezing
During install for Win2K, XP Pro, and also W98SE the system locks up. It also happens during install of RH v7.2. I've tried 2 separate HDDs and even put in a brand new PSU.
