Had a look to the link. Interesting card!. Has never been available around here. I assume that there is a compatible RAM DIMM on the card and you have ugraded the card's BIOS to the last version. Maybe you have a BIOSes conflict on you mobo, if it's a PIII RU 1,28. Try with NJ 1,22. On the other han...

Hi gabumon, Don't throw the towel. First, which model of Adaptec is it? Second what level of overclocking are you using because if it's an old AHA it will not follow at more than 33 Mhz on the PCI bus even if some can follow 40! (mine allows 38)Third how much do you ask for the mobo ? and t...

Last reply to Derek, I think.... You were right but I wasn't so wrong in essence. Checking information by Intel on AGP Bus Spec. you are right - 2X 3,3 Volts - 4X 1,5 Volts - 8x 0,8 Volts (should be...but...) but people from Abit made the BP6 with a f... 5 volts AGP 2X Bus (Sandra says, and BP6 user...

HPT 366 latency timer
Hi folks, Is there any (surely not but worth to grab in) way to reduce the latency of the HPT 366 chipset?. Sisoft's Sandra tells that it takes 246 clocks!! Sure hang-on with OCing and heavy charged PCI bus. Robby's BIOS with HPT 1.28 works great until 75 mhz, afterwoods bye, bye. Data corruption an...

asi, try the winnt (yes!) drivers version 1.22 dated 26 dec. 1999(!) It worked for me on Christmas when I spoiled everything trying to OC! But maybe you'll have problems to boot from IDE CD as I did!. (unless you make the 4 diskettes to boot with floppy. Too slow if you are on the nerves...) Had to ...

Be very, very, very careful all of you. It may work some time until it burns. Don't forget BP6 AGP bus is 2X at 5volts! I had one of the first Asus v6600 geforce 256 and it lasted me 10 months! until it burned out. The card was rated for 4X at 3,3volts and the BP6 burnt it! Still want to try if the ...
