RoaBP6x problems in Windows XP!!!

I have this huge problem now, I can't get the program called "Rise Of Abit" to write the new voltage settings to my BIOS. This application worked well in Windows 2000 a couple of years ago when I ran my dual Celeron 366@605MHz (Vcore@2.4V) stable with my watercooling system. What could be the proble...

WHOA!!! Maybe I will buy one of those next. :) ...yeah, I propably should...tired of trying to overklock my dual celly366's to 550Mhz. A friend of mine has a normal XP2500+ and runs it stable as an XP3200+ with default voltage. ...by the way I Overclocked my dual celly366's to 682(124fsb) (= ~54% in...

LOL, still don't want to believe you!

It was just a happy thought! :)

Are you sure it is the i440BX that is the problem? What if it's just the Celeron CPU's that makes it impossible to handle larger memory than 256Mb?

Can I use larger DIMM modules than 256Mb???

According to this site you can: http://www.wh20.tu-dresden.de/~magu/pc.html This site is in german but look at the specs for the BP6. 1024Mb of RAM. That means that atleast one module is 512Mb in size. if that is true then it's very good :) According to Abit the BP6 mobo will only do a total of 768M...

I've got orginal board with no modifications made(except for a couple of broken Caps) and single P3-800MHz@882MHz(110MHz FSB, 1.70V), and can almost boot to WindowsXP at 992MHz(124MHz FSB, 1.90...
