Your computer only freezes when formatting a floppy, or reading it too? Try stuffing a 1.44meg file in there and then read it. Also, this only happens in WindowsXP? Weird stuffs… Could also be the floppy drive controller that’s going.

The Western Digital Special Edition (8Megs of cache) is excellent. The largest slowdown in a dual processor system is the hard drive, and that specific drive is the best IDE performer you’re going to see.

Although, SCSI is the way to go! :D

What does anyone thing of the online/offline notifier within the topics? Might encourage people to chat if they find someone on at the same time as them. I like the sound of that; encouraging people to interact on the message board is a big bonus. Can't think that any of the others are worth bother...

Capital Letter Mod

Here’s the deal: If you type a subject that consists of all capital letters this modification will automatically convert it so only the first letter of each word is capitalized.

Having said that, don’t capitalize everything in the first place.
