Geez, jay, I was reading reviews on that board yesterday. Isn't that the first "duallie duallie duallie tuallie" board? (Dual cpus, ddr, raid and it can run Tualatins) Anyway, I've had luck by pulling the bios chip then powering the board a few seconds, power off and then re-inserting the bios chip....

Jaybird, Sometimes it shows how much I don't know what Im talking about. I somehow thought the upgraded c'mines had the S designation. That is wrong. It is a T not an S. Also, the color is different. The upgrade c'mine is the same color as the older c'mine...brighter green...but has the large heat s...

The first step is get two Power Leap NEO-370s. Glad to see you are not a n00b. It makes explaining easier. Remember the BP6 is designed for dual celeron which requires a different pin configuration. Once you can locate the NEO-370s you will have to modify them, also mod the sockets, then change the ...

I don't think anyone has pulled it off yet. There have been several posts suggesting someone might do the "Dual Tual" dance but there are no posted success stories yet. On a different note I was thinking about upgrading my uni 486 to dual tualatins. I only need one adaptor to make that 486 more powe...

Heres a couple SATA links here on the board. This one doesn't show a conclusion. http://www.bp6.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=3241&highlight=sata This one seems to have worked...but in RAID configuration only. http://www.bp6.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=3222&highlight=sata Here is another un-answered SATA ...

The article captured the way I felt about the BP6 and AMD's 4X4. My first trip into dual was a P-PRO and it was a dissapointment. The BP6 is great cause it uses cheap CPUs and a flexable FSB and there is experimenting with ATA66 and all that stuff. Ya know, people that MOD the board for coppermine P...

And what about the guy that MS has problems with because a pirate already used his key? How does MS know which is the pirated and which is the purchased copy. BTW, I got about a dozen stickers from systems that were bought with XP installed but as soon as they were set up they were fdisked and linux...

headspirit, My guess is the BSOD you told us about was not related to the CPUs but everything else on the board being over clocked. If you get 366s its almost a guarantee you can run 100FSB which will put everything at its rated speed but the CPUs which will be running 50% faster. You will like the ...

Two parameters of biggest concern on HDs are RPM and the cache size. 8Meg cache on a 7200rpm set to ata33 will usually out preform 5400RPM with a 512K cache set on ata66. That ata rating is mostly a hype parameter manufacturers use. Dont get me wrong, there is some truth in it but you will be hard p...

The BX440 can only recognize sticks up to 256...and they have to be the older kind with chips on both sides. Ive seen them called double density. The 128meg sticks are probably showing up correctly but that 512 meg stick should be seen as a 256 stick. At least when I used a spare 512meg in my BP6 it...

I got one somewhere in the past and as already stated it is: 1) 8bit ISA 2) IDE interface...to the best of my limited knowledge only works with 1x CD drives. Jay, Im sure you got the tullies because you didn't mention the S marking anywhere. I looked quite a bit today. The 512k L2 was on a limited supply of c'mines and they have the designation "S" on them. If my info was correct the S series were made kinda between Coppermine and Tulalatin. They are mos...

javaholic, Yea Coffee !!! I read that thread and see the same thing that s4brains saw. I don't know who those folks are but if they give advise to others, someone should have done a little research and they would have seen you are trying a processor to new for your board. BP6 can handle 2 of the old...

KOOL !!! I bet anything that you hear when electricity is applied would work simularly.
