as you could read it earlier, i think i got the sollution! it's working fine, over 36MB/s which is 55% of teoretical 66,6MB/s on UDMA4...but it's faster than PCI slot can handle (and that is 33,3MB/s)...so all those guys that use Promise ULTRA-100, they can only brag...cause the real speed can't go ...

3rd...check the BIOS version?! the RU is the last version from ABIT, nad you0ve got here RV on this page...look in files...

4th...why don't you ask the guy if both of the sockets 370 had worked?! maybe he can fill you up with history of the board?!

there must be problem in one of the Socket 370...see around it, did you posiblly damaged it by installing cooler?!

or just Up the voltage on one of the CPUs, and see if it would boot?! but I wouldn't recomend you to go over 2,3V...mybe it would boot with higher voltage?!

but if you want some mods done to your board...this is the best page for it...some gys here use Tual (one) on BP6...some use dual P3s...

but if you want dual P3, maybe you could get VP6 from Abit...on ebay it's about 100$!

NO!
on BP6 board you can only use PPGA processore, and that means Mendocino Celerons in range od 300 to 533MHz...lots of guys use 366 overclocked on 550MHz, which is the fastest setting...

I searched a little more in SiSoft Sandra...and the disk on HPT366 is locked on 10MB/s...even though I have put it on UDMA 3 or UDMA 2, in WinXP is recognized as PIO-4!?!?! so there must be some error in the device or device drivers, right?! also Sandra reports that HPT366 can only work in PIO or MW...

how do you update only HPT366 BIOS...i've seen drivers at highpoint homepage, downloaded them...but I don't know which BIOS is for HPT366 device on BP6 board? and the LOAD.EXE gives me 5 choises I've never heard off!!!

so if somebody can help me with that?!
