i had one replaced with a 1000uf cap.
it is better, the voltage swings are less.

used to be 1.36v - 1.67v sort of. forget actually.
with a 1000uf it's around 1.45-1.54

computer management

check the device manager to see your IDE controllers are listed fine
then disk management
you will prolly have to right click the 'new' drive to write some address to it b4 win2k will see it

something about PCI compliance with getting a voltage rail to the card.

there is a lack of voltage along the BP6's pci slot ...

it would fit, with the adjustable arms.

fan forced would be better than passive .....
but an in fan on the front and 1 or 2 fans on the back should be good.

with all the fins, it has to be an improvement.

mine run at 45-46
if it was cool, they'd be at 78 or 80fsb but I run them std cos it's summer time.
