Can I upgrade to a Coppermine FC-PGA CPU?
Can I upgrade to a Coppermine FC-PGA CPU?
At the moment, the only way to upgrade to a Coppermine FC-PGA CPU, would be to use the PowerLeap Neo S370 adapter. However, SMP support has not been successfully reported to work with the Coppermine FC-PGA CPU's, yet.

Can you run dual Celeron II's on the BP6?
Can I run dual Celeron II FC-PGA CPU's in my BP6?
The Celeron II will NOT SMP. The Celeron II FC-PGA CPU will only work on the BP6 in single CPU mode using the PowerLeap Neo S370 adapter. Try using CPU socket CPU1 next to the RAM sockets, first.

Supported CPU's
Supported CPU's: This is still a work in progress since new CPU 's keep coming out. The original Intel Celeron 300A - 533MHz (PPGA Package) is supported ( SMP capable). Certain Pentium III CPU 's will run in dual mode on a BP6 that has been modified. Or, a BP6 and PowerLeap NeoS370 adapters that ha...

Running Dual Pentium III FC-PGA CPU's on the BP6.
Can I use dual Pentium III FC-PGA CPU's on the BP6? Sort of. The Pentium III FC-PGA CPU's cB0 stepping and above will work on the BP6 in a single CPU mode using a PowerLeap Neo S370 adapter. However, some BP6 users have been able to modify the mainboard and the PowerLeap Neo S370 adapter to get SMP...

BIOS RAM size is half the size of the RAM module.
Why does my 256MB RAM stick show in the BIOS startup as 128MB? The type of RAM you are using, may be what is called, high-density RAM . When the BP6 was being developed and tested, this type of RAM was not available. They will not work in the BP6 . You can use 256MB RAM that are single or double-de...

Was thinking about this one... The extra connector shouldn't be a factor. I just wanted to know if the PSU was the older ATX-style PSU or, like your's, the newer ATX-style PSU. Need to know some specific information. With your old PSU, your system would not shutdown properly, some times. At what poi...
