Oh BTW- Has anybody ever experienced quad-pentium PCs before? I'm talking original pentiums. I've never seen one but heard they existed. They sound outrageous. I wonder if a quad slot-1 system has ever been made... I've got 5 or six extra slot-1 celeron 333s just lying around... When I first got in...

My first was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum with the tremendous 48kb memory, dead flesh keyboard, built in basic instead of command line interface, a tape recorder for storage and the TV for screen. Mine was the TI99-4A with 16Kb.(the rest was the same as yours) People may laugh at the specs but truth of t...

jordan162055, you wondered about mods and such and want 800Mhz. First, you really MUST do something about the caps. There are several threads on caps here. You can even come up with some "free options. (let me plug my own work here) http://www.bp6.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=2706&highlight= The BP6 do...

Thrakath, First let me say welcome to the board. Next...take a look at your capacitors bofore proceding. They should be standing straight, no bulging and no brown goo on top or bottom. If you are running 500s you should boot at 66FSB and see if the system shows them on the POST screen. If both cpus ...

s4brains, No, you are not confused.(I'm the resident expert on confused after all) What you said about optical drives and HPT366 is correct. Some folks have reported sucess in using opticals on the '366 but most have just faced frustration when trying that combination. Many don't trust the HPt666 fo...

Check out this link. Many pics that show the problem. Many solutions to the problem.
