Gosh, Piracy is a topic that gets me going. Even though I dissagree with some kinds of copyrights...its still the law. The ability to get away with breaking the law doesn't make it OK. If you spend a year writing a book can I get a copy machine and make free copies for all my friends without you get...

Re: XP SP2 Install - Wont Boot unless VGA Mode
I've a slip streamed SP2 version of XP... Not the issue you are chasing but, which version of XP? If its XP home it will only support one cpu. ...it installs fine until the final reboot then it just hangs, the only way I can get into XP is with a VGA mode boot ... then everything works fine (even m...

"total posts 1" I know. It kinda reminds me of a ghost town in the "out back." In fact its been like this for several months. Ive logged in several times to less then 10 posts in 24hours. If it werent for OOH there would have been several days with zero posts.   Part o...

gulassi, Glad to hear about your sucess. Sounds like you have a winner. I love when Celerons beat-down Pentiums. It just makes me feel good. Anyway, The 366@550 on 100fsb will probably give you better real results then the 466@546 on 78fsb. Thats because the interaction between the ram and cpu is ab...

Humm, interesting, I cannot get my system to overclock @ 1.9 volts. However, I did notice that my "case Temp" was well above my "cpu" temps as shown in MBM 5.0? Jay, Notice my Sig. Check your caps. Particularly the 4-packs. My first board had system temp about 10 degerees higher then the cpus and t...

No to another subject, cooling. What would be the best way to cool the overclocked cellys. I'm thinking of a kind of windtunnel with a big fan to blow air onto the processors. For this I'm going to need quite large heatsinks. Any suggestions for model fitting the mobo with little or no modding. Fir...

quantum_user, I was waiting for you to post something. How many BP6s do you have at this time. For those that don't know, I decided to get my first BP6 from eBay AFTER I emailed quantum_user about the fact that he seemed to be buying them all. He gave some good information and...now ya'all are stuck...

Just a shot in the dark here(and you no doubt already tried it). In a situation like that I would disconnect all drives but the target(set as single on IDE1) and the floppy. I boot into dos6.2 or win98 on the floppy and fdisk the 40gig to delete all the partitions. Do a power off for a few seconds a...
