If this is 512 on one stick you are out of luck BP6 will only work with a
max of 256 per slot or a total of 768 meg of ram per ABIT.

I don't know if it has anything to do with it and I'm sure you aleady know this but BP6 can only support a max of 256 meg of ram per slot or a total of 768. Could the additional ram be causing a problem?

SMP is not enabled on the standard 370S. Check this sites index for required modifications.

According to Intel they only made 1100ES's (OEM chips only!)that are at 100Mhz FSB, the 1000E's are actually 1000EB's that are 133 FSB only, but again, regardless of stepping, ALL PIII's were/are SMP enabled!

To the best of my knowledge ALL PIII 's are SMP enabled! However, the BX chip set is very heavely taxed when asked to run SMP at or above 100Mhz. Believe me I know! Has anyone tried a TEC on the BX chip set? I'v read that it does wonders with other chip sets when overclocking.

It looks to be a 1Ghz cpu with a 100Mhz front side bus. Is this correct?

I am presently running 98SE/NT4.0 SP5 dual boot. I want to go to one OS that will work with all my "stuff"(see below, I am concerned about drivers) and is SMP enabled. My #1 BP6 has: 2, PIII 850's w/NEO370's(minor overclocking) 512 meg Corsair P133 sdram 1 20gig & 1 60 gig WD hdd 7200rpms Matrox G40...

800's and 850's w/100mhz fsb seem to be the most common. However, there is a 1gig 100mhz PIII(OEM) that is smp but good luck in finding them! Last time I saw a pair for sale they were $185 USD each!

I'v tried all that. I'm told that I must have the server service started but when I try to start that service I get a "not enough server storage available to process this command" error.

I can find nothing in my manual about this error.

What do I need to do to start this service, any ideas?

What slot are you installing you sound blaster in, what IRQ's(although not always documented, most creative sound blaster cards use more than one IRQ) is it using and what version of windoz are you using?
