3DMark03 Released Today!

Post by Derek »

Like the subject says, 3DMark03 was released today! This is the ultimate of the ultimate computer benchmarking program. Anyone who is serious about their computer's performance knows and loves this program, especially the hardcore gamers among us.

It just keeps getting better (and bigger) folks.

As most of you know, when a popular program like 3DMark is released, everyone flocks to the download sites at once; this can increase download times dramatically. So as a special gift to you (people visiting BP6.Com), we’ve uploaded it to our file server for you to download! As I type this you do not require an account at BP6.Com to download files, but things will change, so you might as well do yourself a favor and create a free account now.

Click the "Register" link in the top menu bar right below the title "The BP6.Com Message Board".

 Download 3DMark03 Now!!

Have fun!!

For those of you downloading from BP6.Com I would like to hear what speeds you’re getting. You can post them here along with your connection type so we know where you max out at.

Here at work, it took about 3 minutes and 20 seconds. Download averaged about 780KB/s. I think we have an OC-12 coming into the building.

Just downloaded the file, got an average of 46KB/s using opera's built in file downloader and that's on a 512KB/s cable connection over in the UK on my BP6 that's running Gnucleus for file sharing & downloading one or two things (slowly  )

When I get a shot I'll give it a run & see what happens. Don't be expecting any amazing figures from me though. Not quite sure what my 433's @ 533MHz & geforce I can do, but I bet all your systems are quaking in their cases :D
