Fluid cooling for BP6?!

Post by KliK » Fri May 12, 2006 10:08 am

i'm thinking of making one by myself, with the car parts...only thing i have to buy are the CPU waterblocks & Northbridge waterblocks... :D
but i don't know how much liters per hour i have to push through the system?! and that is a crucial parameter for the pump!! :D

has anybody got some information to share?! how much volume (liter, glons) per hour for the one CPU?! how mouch for the Northbridge?!

water cooling
Reserator
Reserator is a compound word derived from 'Reservoir' and 'Radiator' - it acts as a reservoir while radiating heat.
This product works well with natural convection and integrates a water pump inside for convenience.as

- Radiation Area : 1.274m2
- Weight : 6.5kg
- Dimensions : 150(L) x 150(W) x 592(H)mm
- Material : Pure Aluminum, Anodized
- Coolant Capacity : Max. 2.5L
- Maximum Integrated Water Pum : 5 W, Qmax 300L/h
- Maximum Lift : 0.5m
is that 300 litres per hour ? quite a lot !!
uhm, no, 5 litres per minute.

the std reserator kit, with the vga kit (two blocks supplied) is working very happily on my Intel 3.0ghz doing the cpu, northbridge and vga card.
