What is SETI?
From http://www.setiathome.net
SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data.
How do I participate?
Go to the SETI@home website and download the client:
http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php
Starting with BOINC version 5.2, you don't need to use the
online form . You can create an account directly from BOINC. Just run BOINC, select Attach Project, and enter an email address and password.
BP6 Network Teams:
BOINC "BP6/VP6 User Group" (
Team Page )
The new SETI/BOINC program. URL updated July 16, 2004
"BP6/VP6 User Group" (
Stats ) Old SETI Program.
Honorable Mentions:
HAL9000 - This member eats WU's for breakfast dinner and lunch.
(
http://www.hal6000.com/ )
Colin & Xabu - Group founders.
And all the users out there that contribute to the BP6 Network community!
Lets keep the effort going!

They were on the old forum. Don't know if I have seen either of them on the new forum. I think they use the same names when they were active on the forum.

Great job alnielsen!
Do you think we should update the group name to BP6.Com User Group or something? We're not just comprised of BP6s and VP6s anymore
I'm signed up

We haven't even turned in a result and we are allready ahead of the US Air Force.
Derek: Boinc is in beta and I don't think these results will count when it goes live. At that time, You can create a new team and we all can join in. I don't see any way to change the name of the team. If you want a change, we will have to create a new team and abandon this one.
