I see a hotplate on the left side of the pic. Is that for when they are using it in peltier mode?
There are *almost* no bad BP6s. There are mostly bad caps.

Hotplate....LOL

Dern mobo vcore topped out at 1.85, I have to do a volt mod so I can get 2.1vcore
CPU top'd at 2260, will be going higher when mod is complete.
And some changes to the water circultaion, right now it goes pump-->CPU-->rad-->tank.
Need to change it too pump-->rad-->CPU-->tank
SHould help some, load temps are 40°C, still not bad for a 500mhz OC....

I need some help here guys.........

I need it COLDER!!!!!!!
2 days ago, is was close to or over 80°F here, and the CPU reached 45°C :o :o
I need some ideas as to making this beast cooler, I was thinking about another rad, but I dont think it would be enough, I need a chiller but dont want to go broke cooling this thing(prommie out of the question). I live upstairs in a duplex my Dad and me owns so the basement would requier a lot of work.

A few ideas include:
Burying a crap load of copper tube in the basement, using a car water pump to get it up here into the res.

A bong in the basement, (might be 2 fold use's...)

A full size auto rad/fan set up using said water pump in basemant

Some sort of chiller up here to eliminate the rad.

Some more ideas???????

EDIT:
No pelts either......

Has the rad got a fan on it?
If not add one, if it does, then maybe look at a better rad or a bigger fan.

a fan would work, force some air throught those fins
adding another rad is good too
what's the water temp? make sure the waterblocks are seated right and not lifting up on one side due to the stress from the hoses, and make sure they have good thermal compound but don't glob it on, lapping the slug and heatsink for better contact

for an el cheapo radiator, buy like a coil of copper, the bendable kind, with the same OD as the ID of your vinal tubing and just slip it on, your water pressure will drop but that shouldn't be a problem

what's in your water that's making it red? water wetter?

oh yeah, bong, bad idea, don't do it, trust me
yea, back from the dead

i agree that passive cooling on that radiator fails just like sitting at a red light in a car without a fan.
perchance you could duct your ac vent to blow through the radiator. that wont work in the winter though...

use full size car copper radiator, though it will cosat you... :) i will post my pictures soon.

With P4 2.4@3.0GHz and passive cooling and no tank - 30C for CPU and 31C for system. The only fans are the video and PSU fans

I have a blower on the rad, it is an 8x8 inch heater core for an old Power Wagon. The white tube in the above pic is dryer vent ducted to the rad, which also has a schroud.
It's the same as I have on my NF7 heatsink, there a pic of it in my gallery.

I reseated and did a better lap job on the water block, we will see what happins, if that doesnt work I will try a secend rad in the system......
