Dual 400 celerons only one works. Plz help?

Hey I have 2 celeron 400's. They have the same step codes and both are good. The BP-6 will boot with either cpu in either socket but no boot with both. Step codes do have to match right? Any ideas?

Stepping shouldn't matter.

Have a look at this page, and check your boards capacitors.

My caps all look good but I want to do the p3 mod anyway, must be a good time. I read where p3 mod helps celerons too.
