CPU "FAN2" connector without voltage

Post by o-d-f »

Hi BP6 community,

i have a Problem with my BP6 Board. The CPU FAN1 is rotating and the CPU FAN2 doesn't work. So i measured the voltage on both connectors. On FAN1 are 11,9V and on FAN2 0V.

Is there anywhere a fuse wich i can change or solder a bridge? At the moment i am using the two coolers paralel over the connector "FAN1", but this solution is to easy

Is there any chance to repair it? THX for your Tips.

cu,

wish i could help, mine has 0v on both cpu fan headers. so i just use 12v right out of the power supply. matter of fact every fan on my bp6 is at 100% power thru the molex connectors.

Someone did repair their fan headers. The info should be hiding on the message board somewhere.

I'm on the road at the moment so you'll have to search :)
