Hi Owe,

Welcome to BP6.Com!

Your 500 Mhz Celeron processors can be inserted directly into the mainboard sockets without adapters. The BP6 was designed to use the original Celeron that comes in the PPGA pin configuration.

heh those are celeron 2's if i am not mistaken

PPGA celerons (the ones you have) will sit right in. i am using that same configuration myself. i have 2 celeron 500's at 563mhz

I don't recall any Celeron II's at 500 Mhz. They started at 533 Mhz.
