Lin Lin C2 coppermine 900

Post by masparrow »

Hi,
I recently bought an socket 370 adapter (Looks identical to the Lin-Lin adapters on this site, but is labelled August), and a coppermine celeron 900Mhz 1.75V 100FSB.
I have tries the jumpers b2-b3 a9-a9 and b8-b9. Which accoring to the Knowledge base is 1.75v and 100Mhz. (and corresponds to the diagram on the instructions for a coppermine cpu).

But i don`t get any life at all. I don`t even get the a beep or the graphics card screen.

any help?

I have tried the RV bios from this website, still no joy.

I have now also tried a P3 800 100fsb also with no joy.

Can anyone confirm which jumpers I should be using with the lin-lin, and which bios is likely to work?

Also are their anymodifications that are needed to the linlin, or the mobo?

Thanks
:( :( :(

I did the same thing that you did with lin lin...no no go go . Even though I knew of the neo and p3 mods ( see http://www.bp6.com/board/kb.php?mode=article&k=9 ) . I didn't want to commit the bp6 board wiring mod until I can get the router moved off my linux box. I'm working on a bh6 substitute , once up, it'll free up the bp6 for mods.
