Office 2003

Post by Derek »

I have to say that I'm impressed with Microsoft's latest suite. Outlook's new layout will take some getting used to, but all in all I like the new Office.

What do you think?

Haven´t seen 2003 yet, but I was quite impressed when I upgraded from Office 95 to Office XP. Better stability, interesting new functions in Word (auto-adjust of text format when copying/pasting), fluent work with Outlook. What´s new in 2003 from your point of view?

I'd love to know why people think it's worse than previous versions. Certainly Outlook 2003 is a lot nicer, word, powerpoint and excel aren't that different, but then there's only so many changes you can make to those sorts of programs.

I can recommend GoBe Productive as an alternative.

I use version 2 for BeOS (v3 is Windows only).

It's a very intuitive and highly integrated suite.
