Is the HPT controller enabled or disabled?

Is the computer connected to a network?

Usually when a computer hangs like that at bootup the problem is network related.

Check your DHCP settings (if you're running DHCP) or your DNS settings.

If your hard drives are on the HPT controller, try running them off of the regular ATA33 controller for the time being.

Was Windows originally installed on the BP6 or another PC? Which ATA controller was it installed on?
Like BP6.com? Not a member?
Then why the hell not? It's great!
