What's the H/W spec & current O/S - WinXP Pro?
How long running current H/W setup w/o problems or changes?

After looking through the event viewer, I seen True Vecter at the same times there was the system errors, so I am now using the newest Zone Alarm so we will see if it happens any more.......

I see you've done the XP-Pro SP1 install. Any chance that triggered some new issue with S/W that was running just fine prior to SP1 added?
You mention Zone Alarm, any other issues showed up with XPPro-SP1?

Didn't Win2K SP1 break ZoneAlarm as well? Perhaps M$ are playing dirty...

How is the fire wall built into windows??????????
I really dont want to reinstall, and like a ding dong I shut off the system restore ability something like 2 days before I put in the service pack and that must get rid of everything cause the only point now would be today..........................

You should try doing an install on top of whats there. This will usually hold on to all the S/W installations & settings. It will force You to reinstall all the incremantal WinXP patches up to the point where SP1 went in.

I just had something very strange happen.............................

I was snagging the newest DET's, when all of a sudden, the screen res went to 640*480 and 4 bit color

I tryed to go back to 1024*768 and it wouldn't let me, I had to hit reset to get back to 1024, now I am beginning to wonder if it is the service pack or maybe a hardware problem...........................
I brought the bus back to 66  and I will see what happens from there......
