2. Which BeOS effort does this version belong to, out of all the different BeOS efforts out there?
3. What programs are found for this version and where do you find them? Is Firefox found? Python?

I should add at this point that I haven't tried this BeOS, so YMMV.
2. I suspect it's based on the free OS that Be Inc. released before they were sold to Palm. Previous BeOS DevEds have been.
3. No idea I'm afraid. But I know you can find both those proggies on www.bebits.com
