Aw hell yeah. I'm excited. I've got a subscription, so my disks will be in the first shipment.

The big upgrade I'm looking forward to is the Xorg 6.8.1 Xserver. It supports true transparency, among many other things. This allows one to get the MacOSX style transparent terminal emulators.

The default kernel is 2.4.29, but 2.6 kernels work when just dropped in to replace the 2.4 kernel (they provide 2.6.10 as an alternate kernel).

Anyway, it's a Slackware release. It will be rock solid and secure. All the simplicity of BSD with the Linux kernel. I love it.
