Installing XP problem

Post by JRMJames67 »

Hey,
Can anyone help me? I recently built a computer over this summer. I have an ECS RS482-M motherboard. I've been installing windows XP Home Edition, 2002. It works fine,b tu then I start installing the automatic updates. My computer then restarts after the updates and can never reboot. Everytime it tries to load windows after that it crashes? Microsoft, of course, is no help. Does anyone know whats happening?

also, you installed over 60+ paches for the WinXP!! of course it crashes... :D

maybe you should stick with SP2 first, and then install only 20 or even 10 paches per boot!! might take some time, but it will get you to the end!
