!) Make sure your BIOS setup has nothing related to the ROMS as being set for cached mode of operation.
2) Make a Win98 boot floppy with the Award flash Program and xxxx.BIN file of the version you're installing on it.
3) Boot from the floppy & press the F8 funcction key to pause boot with menu for how to boot.
4) With menu up, hit SHIFT-F5 to go right to A:> prompt - this eliminates the loading of anything non-essential.
5) Launch the Award flash utility , and give it the name of your new binary file.

The proper flashing tool is AWDFLASH.EXE

In fact, they are the same thing, insofar as the HPT BIOS is included with the BP6 BIOS.

I don't know about load105.exe though. I've always used awdflash.exe.
