Video playback

Post by the_flames »

while in 2k I seem to striggle playing any video, mpg or avi, as it seems to always jump. I'm using windows media player 6.2 to play the movies.

anyone have any ideas why I'm having these problems.

system spec :

dual celeron 400 's
786 mb ram
40 gb HDD on ata66 1
60 gb HDD on ata66 2
voodoo 3 pci
SB 128

First, update your media player to beta 9 (it works, I'm using it now). If that doesn't solve your problem, open up Windows Task Manager and set the affinity for Windows Media player to a single processor and the processing priority to realtime (everytime you open up Window Media Player).
