Both OS's are clean (OS) installs with latest service patches and critical updates installed.
With win 2K I seem to have a problem closing apps that have a tray icon, In XP there is no tray Icon Problem.
With win XP my network card cannot access the local network, 2k has no such problem. all network settings are teh same for each OS!
For each problem Kazaa has been the quickest app to test out the problems but other apps like Motherboard moniter for the tray icons and explorer for the networking has idenitified the problems.
The 2k tray icon problem is Irratating, the XP problem forces me off the net
has anyone seen this problem before?
does anyone have any ideas on any fixes ?
