Reminds me of Neal Stephenson's "Snow Crash." In the book, the Mafia controls pizza delivery and the main guy starts out as a pizza-delivery guy, called "The Deliverator." He drives a super fast pizza-delivery-sports-car with special slots built into it for the pizza to be put into.
