Looking at the Bonic team stats page it should only take me countless hours to change the stats to work with it
Once we get some numbers filled in on the page instead of all zeros I will starts working on the new stats and if I get it working quickly I will see if we can get it up on the site as well.

That would be great, thanks Hal.HAL6000 wrote:Looking at the Bonic team stats page it should only take me countless hours to change the stats to work with it

I looked at the wu's
seems credit is granted after confirming results are received.
so, the 18.97 hours you did, was confirmed by some1 else, so you got 18.97
but, unfortunately, the other wus were done by some2 others on faster machines, so you only got credited with the lesser time taken.
my uncredited wus haven't been confirmed by any1 as yet
expect credit later
probably, try not to use a slow bp6 when so many others use faster machines, i'm using my 1600 piv

Hmm its hard to explaine...
Ill quote some of the stuff from the BOINC forums.

Validate grants credit ONLY to the identical results. The policy seems to be: The majority (2) of the first 3 succsessfull returned results must be identical and then they get credit. They become the master (canonical) results and every other result must match them to get credit.
The following url is the the topic that they came from:The credit system uses this check, because a validated result is (hopefully) not a fake. This avoid cheating with manipulated results. Taking ONE creditvalue for all succsessfull validated results then avoid cheating with manipulated benchmarks. In the future - I believe - the 'claimed credits' for one WU will not be so different as now, but it will never become exactly the same on all hosts. But better then counting WU's!

The credit given is actually cobblestones which is a value they made up that is based on a referance computer doing so much work. The faster your system the more cobblestones you get but it seems if you are not the first to turn in a wu you only get the first persons credit. Every wu I have done has had very dirrent amounts of claimed credit from each person that submited it.
This one for example
http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/ap/wo ... uid=381545
15.83 - First to submit the wu - 1.8Ghz P4
12.41 - Last to submit the wu - 2.4Ghz P4
26.94 - My wu submition - 2.4 Ghz P4
Given credit is 15.83 for this wu. The numbers are all over the board here so I am not sure exactly what they are doing but I think they still need a lot of work here.
