Don't worry about the recognized speed. I am using PIII 1100 and my bios is only able to report 1062 but once I get into Windows and use WCPUID, it will report the correct speed. As for your CPU unworkable error, I think the problem is you are not using the User define option in the BIOS. Just go in...

Dual PIII 1.1 gig

http://members.rogers.com/mwtsang/dualPIII.jpg My first shot at dual PIII mod. I followed Yoichiro's guide and I was able to get the dual PIII 1.1/100/1.75V successfully to run at stock speed. I can't seem to get both CPUs to run at 110mhz eventhough they are capable of running at 110Mhz each in si...

Well based on his method... The voltage regulator Q16 has to be modified as well. That's the part I am confused since the translation was hard to understand. Does anyone out there know?

Thanks

Yochiro's method on modifying BP6 for P3

Hi, I am trying to modifying my bp6 for the dual P3 setup and I am have problem understanding some of the procedures that he pointed out. He mentrioned something about EC12: "Solder is applied back and the EC12 electrolytic capacitor is blown down a little left. Do not remove. " What exactly does th...

Well sounds like you don't really like your Acorp board. Perhaps, I should get a VP6 instead. It's a shame though I really like my bp6. I have a question once you put the CPU into the NEO socket, is it very hard to get the CPU back out? I saw from another thread that you are going to do the dual PII...

Well I am all ready to try modifying my bp6 for the ultimate dual PIII setup. Then again, I don't even know if it's worth it. I mean an Acorp board is selling for $50 on ebay? Two NEO adapters will cost me the same amount and it's not guarenteed that it will work.

I wonder if your problem is from the motherboard cuz it seems strange that the CPU itself can't even run at its full speed? Have you tried running at 100Mhz with another chip with your first motherboard? I always run my bp6 at 110Mhz. I am using dual Celeron 300Mhz overclocked to 495Mhz. One of my c...

Que Computers FPGA2 1.1 Ghz 100Mhz FSB CPU?

Hi, I am new to this forum. I am also a proud owner of an Abit BP6 motherboard. :D It has served me well the last three years. I just ordered 2 PIII 1.1Ghz 100Mhz FSB from Que computers. When I was visiting their website, it showed that the PIII 1.1Ghz 100Mhz FSB is FPGA2? I thought they are all FPG...
