guys, on BP6 the second voltage you see on MBM is VTT voltage. if you wanna see the correct voltages for the cores then select voltage view from standart to BP6. then termistor 2 is for core 0 and termistor one is for core 1. have fun guys, this have been noted already long time ago in MBM help file...

yes it will outperform, even if it would be 50MHz slower, but it has SSE2 and 512kb cache :) besides, I still did not try that out... the story was that my friend was mistaken by his farther (he tols its PIII 1333MHz, but it was Athlon 1333MHz actually...) :) And I am back he re in forums after a wh...

well in the pharmacy you should get some 96º pure alcohol (unless they do not sell that in USA...) or just go to the licor shop and buy some cheap vodka :) because I think pure alcohol freezes at -113ºC and then it depends on the mixture with water. also you could use glycol alcohol (car refrigerati...

just do not use water if you plan to hook up those kyrotech units. they are phase change, right? use ethyl alcohol or the mixture - it won't freeze till very low temps :)

I do not use them even for cdroms, cause you get lower performance and possibly read/write errors if you use them... at least i got really strange behaviour of my cd burners under HPT666 - will never use it for anything!!!!

I think the problem with failed mods are the pcb layouts, cause the mod usually works on radeon 9700 type pcb layout. and if it is radeon 9500 pcb, so the mod should not work.

Bonjour tout le monde ! Thanks RRledford, I'll try it. Dj, here are answers about your questions : 1/ Why XP ? severals reasons : my usb alcatel modem only works with xp, and xp is nicer for games (even if I don't play very often). 2/ Windows update is a good idea, and, by the way, ATI said that th...

I agree with RRLedford. copper is the best and evercool CUD725 also fits col on BP6 :) I have them running at 30-35C (depends on cleaninness or air dust filters of case intake fans) with 20C air temperature outside 8)

And I do not use arctic silver yet...

when CMOS battery gets weaker your clock gets slower and you start to "loose" the time, especially you notice the longer you are on without reboting. but WinXP pro has this function that it checks with online time periodically and corrects it :) I also have my batery dying, but still did not go to b...

NicroCide wrote:okay... well thats sad :? ... but a good place to buy the neo 370 converter... where would that be ? please note my home country is denmark.

NicroCide
go directly to www.powerleap.com and buy there. the shipping will cost you quite enough, but I did not find any place selling neo370s in Europe.

I do not think his HDD is dying. I am using mine still and I sis not had to replace (luckily) - I got away with low level format from maxtor after few tries for tearing away those BAD sectors on my HDD - since then it is OK and no problems with any bad sectors or whatever, since I use promise :) bes...

I would not go any VIA processor, cause your single Celeron on 550MHz should outperform the 1GHz Ezra :)

They produce the CPUs without performance man, though low on wattage.... :)

Thanks for your response. Three questions, though: How do I know if I'm using HPT666? Is there a solution for the mouse/keyboard lockup issue? I'm assuming the voltage supply problem you're referring to is because of the non-functioning fans. If so, how do I remedy that, or can I? Also, why is this...

you need to change the capacitors on mobo to low ESR ones, then some of them with higher capacity, then change the voltage regulators for the Vcore, Vmem and Vio - then it should not lock up even if you put 2.3V+ :)

first, do not use HPT666, cause it will crash your HDDs (see other post). then there is an issue with random mouse/keyboard lockups, though the pc would still be working, but not responsive to anything. then it could be the problemwith the voltage supply to your mobo components: mosfets, capasitors ...
