BTW, does anyone have their HPT366 controllers functioning properly. And I do mean 'properly'! If so, what BIOS and what drivers?
I still need a final RU BIOS without the HPT firmware, though.
Thanks.

I've been using the HPT-free BIOS with the BP6 logo for nearly a year now. The HPT still shows up in device manager but boot-ups are quicker.
There is one such BIOS on the BP6.com BIOS section, but I don't know if it's the one I've been using, so I cannot vouch for it.

Thanks for the reply.
So, if I understand you correctly, when you boot up there is no HPT BIOS screen. Correct?
Is it a Final RU BIOS code?
If both are true, would you make me a *.bin copy and post it here in this thread (upload it if you have web space and put linkage here) or email it to me?
I really would appreciate it because from what I see, there are no Final RU BIOS without HPT firmware on bp6.com.
Let me know. Thanks.

Also, do you currently have HDDs on you HPT with no problems?

I'm good today! built a dual Athlon 1900+, a 1.2GHz Duron, and found your .bin file on an old CD gathering dust
Post your email address. I'll forward it to you.

DD, I think you need to take the pressure off InactiveX. How about a link to this file on the main page?

gabumon: Glad you're happy. The BP6 logo is nice isn't it? Miles better than that ubiquitous Energy Star logo. FYI, I used to run my 366MHz celerons at 550MHz, but since I upgraded to 768MB RAM I had to back off to 500MHz. But the extra memory is definitely worth the drop in clock speed.
onelegdis: hehehe! I don't mind! But I agree, it would be better to have a link from the main page....
DD: I can email you the .bin for hosting here if you like.
