Try booting with each CPU one at a time in either socket.
One socket is always more solid than the other & It may still boot OK if you get the better CPU in the better socket.
If this fails, I would get the board out on the bench & test with one CPU, one RAM module plus video card only. Good luck.
ABIT BP6 boot problems (happening recently)
Some very good advice on soldering processes. Personally for removing things from PCBs I tend to secure the board vertically (with a vice or some such) and then use one hand to heat the "legs" of the capacitor while using the other hand to shift it backwards and forwards until it comes loose.
The real trick is doing surface-mount components without imersion-soldering... (No, I've not yet had cause to try, and don't much want to.)
