trouble installing Highpoint 366 drivers
Drives are SO affordable now! Don't expect to run your new 80G dtives off the HPT366 onboard chip. I assume you're installing either Win2K or WInXP. What BP6 BIOS version & Win2K driver are you using? I run (3) BP6 systems OK with BIOS = RU & Win2K Driver = 1.25. But I only use the HPT366 to operate READ ONLY CD/DVD-ROM devices, because it is just too flakey to handle important Data in rewritable drives.

What slot are you installing you sound blaster in, what IRQ's(although not always documented, most creative sound blaster cards use more than one IRQ) is it using and what version of windoz are you using?
