I've has an ASUS SK8N Motherboard for the last 6 months that had a bad onboard network connection. Ive bypassed it with a standard 3com network card, anyone vere seen bad network connections onboard. I RMA'd the board to asus and they didnt even fix the inital problem, but anyone come across with network cards that just cant recieve packets?
Tried several os's including linux and none of them allow connecting through that onboard nic =>.<=;
And yes I have tried default drivers, new nvidia nforce3 drivers, several switches, crossover cable, patch cables, nothing. So could it just be a bad board? (oh and yes at the time there were two identical motherboards with the same problem)
Problems, network connection. 169.x.x.x shows...
