The same permissions have been set for post attachments ( http://www.bp6.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=472 ). This was done to help protect our bandwidth; you can browse the picture gallery and message board without registering.
Slowly but surely Im modifying the attachments modification to suite our needs. Once the modifications are complete, the next step will be to get lots of files, and upload them to their proper category. I will sort all the files we currently have on BP6.Com, but well need a team to keep it updated and organized. If anyone is interested, just post here to let me know (only post if youre serious and really want to help).
If the files thing isnt for you, well need a crew for the FAQ database; just wait for me to post an announcement about the FAQ database and sign up at that time.
I'll go into more detail about how the files database will work when it's ready to be launched.

I've changed my plans for the database, you'll notice the changes; It will be more manageable this way.
I need to know: Should you be required to be logged in to download files, or should anyone (registered or unregistered) be able to download the files? Originally I wanted only registered used to have download privileges but now I'm not certain.
You can not download this file directly from another site!
Some of you have encountered this error when trying to download files from the database. This problem will be fixed when with the next update of the database software. For the time being, disable your firewall when downloading from this site (if the problem applies to you).
