Heatsink Suggestion
Heatsink Suggestion
I want to get two new heatsinks for my bp6 board because the old ones brackets have broken. I don't plan on overclocking at all, so would you guys have a suggestion for heatwinks for my bp6? i looked at a few, but none of them seem to fit at all.
Welcome aboard.
If not OC'ing...I think you can use pretty much any that would work on socket7 or socket 370. Since mostly new equipment does NOT use socket370 anymore most "chain" retailers don't carry HSFs for them. Check with any "Mom&Pop" type computer store at any strip mall in any town and you will find old HSFs probably for a couple bucks.
Or you can order some online but with cost plus shipping you will pay quite a bit.

There are *almost* no bad BP6s. There are mostly bad caps.
No BP6s remaining
Athlon 2800
Sempron 2000
