Im not sure if this is the place for this but I REALLY need some help.
I have a very heavely configured BP-6;
2 PIII 1100's at 100 mhz fsb (NEO 370's and board mods)
768 meg PC133 RAM
1 60gig & 1 80gig hdd
G400 MAX 32 meg vid card
SBLive Platinum
Adaptec SCSII card for scanner
Adaptec firewire card for digital camera and camcorder capture
Win TV GO! capture card
10/100 NIC
Pioneer 103S DVD drive
Kenwood 52X CD-ROM drive
Panasonic DVD-RAM drive
Yamaha 4416E CD Burner
Win98SE/NT4.0 dual-boot.
Everything has been working great for several years but just the other day my Yamaha took a dump so I replaced it with a Lite0n unit that was recommended to me(52x24x52, $19 with the rebate at Office MAX, how can you go wrong?), it uses Nero 5.5 software.
Anyway, I installed it and the first thing that happened on re-boot was that I lost my video drivers and went into VGA mode(I didn't find this out untill I reinstalled 98, NT was ok).
Now, after correcting the video problem I cannot have more than one optical drive hooked into either IDE chain at a time or I get a "File MSGSRV32 has caused a fatal error" just prior to all of my icons being installed on the desktop. Everything else seems ok.
Before I do an FDISK and start over with this monster, any ideas?
Regards,
jaybird

First off, I want to make sure I read your specifications correctly.
You have two PIII 1100 CPU's running in dual mode with NT 4.0?
Second, what drive is on which controller? Standard IDE and/or HPT366 controllers? Your error message is fairly common in Win98/ME. Did you have to load new drivers for Win98?
